INSPIRED BY NATURE
After working for eight years as a jewelry director for Kara Ross, Brent Neale Winston set out to create her own eponymous line. Her vibrant debut collection draws inspiration from the ’60s and ’70s, the works of artist David Hockney, and elements in nature. The whimsical pieces featuring rainbow, mushroom, and flower motifs are all made in New York City using 18-karat gold and multicolored gemstones.
After starting her career in magazines, Azlee founder Baylee Ann Zwart moved to Guatemala to work with local artisans and study the art of metalworking. The designer’s rings, earrings, and pendants are inspired by ancient times and the Art Deco era, but possess a delicate modernity perfect for everyday wear. Zwart crafts each piece in Los Angeles, where she is now based. An avid surfer, she donates a portion of all proceeds to ocean-related causes.
Though Sabbadini was founded in 1940, its expertly crafted fine jewelry line has a new home at Barneys. The family-owned brand makes each striking statement piece by hand in Milan, Italy, and the precise attention to detail is evident. From polished chain bracelets to eye-catching earrings set with yellow sapphires, each design is truly a unique treasure.
