It’s no secret that we’re big fans of jewelry around the Barneys offices—it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that bling! We’ll jump on any chance we can get to celebrate the shiny stuff, which is why it was such a pleasure to host a private cocktail reception for a gold and gem-encrusted crowd at our Madison Avenue store in honor of the debut men’s line from the designer behind cult-favorite brand Sidney Garber, Brooke Garber Neidich.

Since inheriting the namesake brand from her father in 2008, Garber Neidich has dedicated herself to honoring his legacy through both her interpretation of his polished, elegant designs and her commitment to using the brand to make a positive impact in the world. She channels all profits from the brand into her philanthropic efforts with the Child Mind Institute, a cause that the Barneys New York Foundation was also able to champion with the launch event.

With a focus on bracelets, the new men’s collection was designed in conjunction with the Barneys buying team and continues the Sidney Garber hallmarks of fine craftsmanship, the utmost quality, and a refined elegance that speaks to a variety of customers. That array was on clear display via the guests, with those in attendance including Odell Beckham, Jr., Luka Sabbat, Mike “Upscale Vandal” Camargo, Jay IDK, Andre Saraiva, and Barneys’ own Mark Lee, Simon Doonan, and Tom Kalenderian.

“Men’s has been in my thoughts for years. We’ve created special orders for men, but we’d never repeated the pieces as inventory available in the stores until now,” Garber Neidich says of the new line. And when asked how she’d describe the man she sees wearing the pieces, she tells us, “He’s someone for whom jewelry is not fashion but a signifier of style and creativity, and that’s the case for the women who wear my pieces too. All my clients love wearing the jewelry daily—in the morning, in the evening, with jeans, with a gown, or with a suit.”

Scroll on for a closer look at the evening’s festivities, then head to Barneys to add one of these sparkling stunners to your own wardrobe.  You will find the jewelry exquisite, and you won’t find it anywhere else—the collection is exclusive to Barneys.
