In an intimate setting at Freds Downtown, a power trio united as hosts to curate an exceptional Shabbat dinner: Emmy-award-winning businesswoman Martha Stewart, Barneys Executive Chef Mark Strausman, and Katz’s Delicatessen owner Jake Dell. As part of the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One, the event offered a savory multi-course menu of New York classic specialties, as well as traditional Jewish-inspired foods. Plus, it was all for a good cause benefiting Food Bank for New York City and No Kid Hungry. A Pastrami Martini and Mark Jacob’s Flanken with Fresh Horseradish were a couple of the unique offers from the menu.

To top off the night, guests took home two new books: Martha Stewart’s Pressure Cooker and The Freds at Barneys New York Cookbook by Mark Strausman and Susan Littlefield. Scroll on for photos of the event.
