It was amore at first sight when we came across It’s Super Fashion, the blog of Italian-born beauty Marta Pozzan. What’s the secret to her unimpeachably chic style? Read our Q&A to find out.

What inspired you to start the blog?

I have always felt that I have a natural sense for fashion and beauty. I also love writing because it helps me to relax and express my creativity. After previously working as a fashion editor for Silvia Paoli (Vanity Fair Italy fashion editor) and for actress Jaime King’s blog for the Huffington Post, I said to myself, “I love it so much—I think I should start writing my own blog.”

What is the best fashion advice you’ve received?
Silvia once told me, “It’s okay to love fashion. Once you have the brain and the shoes, you’re fine!”

You’re a model, actress, YouTube personality. The list goes on! Do you prefer to be in front of the camera or behind the scenes?
I love to be in front of the camera. When I was a member of Silvia’s editorial staff for Lost In Fashion, I was the host of the fashion newscast “Fashion Nuts.” It was great to experience working as a television journalist. After that, I decided that I wanted to learn how to work in front of a camera as a professional actor.

Which fresh spring trends are you most excited to try?

I’m really into the black and white Twiggy-inspired looks. I love Commes Des Garçons’ checkerboard socks, Phillip Lim’s striped pencil trouser and A.L.C’s Sachi sweater.

What is the most coveted item in your closet?
A pair of lovely Miu Miu black suede pumps with silver details. They’re just perfect with everything, but what I like most is to match them with blue clothes. I think the combination of black and blue is extremely cool and timeless.

Finish this sentence. If I were not working in fashion…
I would be an interior designer.

If you were accidentally locked in Barneys, what would we find you wearing in the morning?
If I were accidentally locked in Barneys—OMG, what a dream. At first it would take me a moment to realize that it’s really happening. After that I would take my shoes off and start browsing through racks. Since I’m very obsessed with shirt dresses, I’d totally get a Christopher Kane pleated shirt dress. I like to match elegant or dressy clothes with flats—mostly loafers—so I would try on Marni’s metallic wingtip oxfords to create a tomboy look. Or for a more elegant version, I’d definitely choose the Jen & Oli ankle strap pumps. To finish the look, I’d add an amazing classic baguette clutch by The Row and a Repossi gold 4-row Berbere earring.
