Unveiled first at our iconic Madison Avenue flagship, this national campaign was created in collaboration with Thom Bettridge, Editor in Chief of Highsnobiety, and Richard Turley, Editorial Director at Interview Magazine and Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy.
On August 6, 2019, Barneys New York voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Like a lot of us out there, we have had our share of financial struggles. But, despite what you may have heard, Barneys is here to stay.
Behind these doors you can still find the best date night heels, CBD moisturizers, bar mitzvah suits, it-bags, little black dresses, statement sneakers, and gifts for your chic aunt that money can buy in New York City.
These things are here, because it is our mission to make sure they always will be.
For nearly a century, we have worked to surprise and entice you, because we believe that shopping is a window into our culture, one that has the power to transport us and teach us new things.
To buy, to behold, to splurge, to strut, to indulge, to look fabulous are basic human instincts – and sometimes they can get us in trouble.
Nevertheless, we are open for you.
And this is so not our last season.
Forever yours, Barneys
