Beyoncé has the power to inspire an entire generation of people, which is why so many of her choices—including what to wear—make such a direct impact. For her latest Coachella performances, she partnered with Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director at Balmain, to create a fun concert look with a cause. Eager to make the collection available to loyal fans, the two creatives worked closely to design a capsule of sweatshirts and tees inspired by marching band uniforms of America’s historically black colleges and universities. To honor the influence, proceeds from the collection will go to the United Negro College Fund (UNC), which helps guarantee that tomorrow’s leaders will be able to attend college, thrive, and graduate.

“I can say today, with absolute confidence, that collaborating with Beyoncé on her Coachella concerts is destined to be one of the most important and treasured memories of my career,” gushed Rousteing, who calls the performer “a goddess, blessed with an incredibly beautiful voice and a moral vision to match.” We couldn’t agree more! Look for the inspiring collection, which launches July 14, 2018, online and at Barneys New York’s Madison Avenue and Beverly Hills flagships.
