Barneys New York shoe floor

What’s Better Than Shopping? Shopping For A Cause, Of Course.

Just in case you haven’t been tuning in: Barneys New York recently unveiled its glamorous new shoe floor at the Madison Avenue flagship. On Monday, Barneys New York and Debra Messing kicked off the opening.

In the video below, Debra Messing gives us the scoop on Barneys’ Perfect Pairs campaign, for which Barneys New York will donate 10 percent of sales from the new shoe floor (through Sunday, July 22nd) to the Human Rights Campaign to further their work in fighting discrimination against LGBT people and expanding marriage equality around the country.

The next night, a few more chic guests like Bette Midler, Michelle Williams, Audra McDonald, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Aubrey Plaza (who stopped by Barneys while in NYC promoting her movie “Safety Not Guaranteed”) got together to shop the new shoe floor. Do good, look good? Now that’s a step in the right direction.

We couldn’t help but snap a few pics of these top-notch guests while they shopped the shoe floor. Take a look below.
