Contributing editor to Vogue magazine, fashion stylist, and wife and collaborative partner to photographer Craig McDean, Tabitha Simmons has always had both feet firmly planted in fashion. But it is the latest addition to her resume—that of shoe designer—which could turn out to be her most important fashion contribution to date.
Her designs amalgamate her eclectic and thoroughly British taste with references ranging from the Victorian and Edwardian periods, to ‘60s rock’n’roll influences and ultra-feminine details such as ruching, lace and bows. Each design has its own intrinsic personality, which explains why so many women are obsessed.
To celebrate the debut of her collection at Barneys, Simmons created an exclusive video with McDean to highlight some favorite fall styles.
