How does Senior Fashion Director Tomoko Ogura manage to look chic and stay comforable throughout Fashion Week? Glad you asked. Below, she shares her tips for getting through 14-hour days in style, along with three Front-Row-worthy outfits.
1. T by Alexander Wang oxford shirt; 2. Pierre Hardy tassel loafer wedge; 3. Proenza Schouler PS11 in python
Tomoko says: “One bold accessory—whether a beautiful cuff or colorful bag—can update favorite standbys that I want to reinvent.”
1. The Row Sabine tee; 2. Christopher Kane leather skirt; 3. Golden Goose sneaker; 4. The Row bucket bag
Tomoko says: ”Leather bottoms make me feel slightly more pulled together, even when paired with flats. There was a particularly rainy day last week, where I had to think about what shoes I wouldn’t mind getting distressed. I usually choose sneakers, and this fall we have a fantastic array of them on our shoe floor.”
1. Current/Elliot jeans; 2. Barneys New York shirt; 3. Manolo Blahnik Aldena; 4. Ann Dexter-Jones ID bracelet
Tomoko says: ”Running from show to showroom to show is tough on my feet. Wearing comfortable shoes makes walking and riding the subway just a bit less grueling when there are no taxis to be found. You’ll often catch me in oxfords or loafers.”
