The Things They Carry: The Barneys Team on Bags for Fall

Even if you didn’t exactly start a new semester this September, that shouldn’t prevent the consideration of how a new bag (books optional) might enhance your outlook as we burrow into fall.

We asked the Barneys New York team what they would be toting during these chilly months, and here’s what we learned.

I’m not carrying one personally but I’m excited that the first Rag & Bone handbags have come in, XO Exclusively Ours at Barneys New York and CO-OP nationwide and, not to mention, here on Barneys.com.

I love the new collection from Belstaff.  The Wimborne clutch is my favorite.

Great travel bags are my weakness.  Some of the ones that I especially like this fall are the Felisi top zip duffel and Valextra’s small trolley in tan.

I’m very excited about Rag & Bone’s debut women’s handbag. I have my eye on the small Pilot bag in mocha. The Maiyet snakeskin clutch is also beautiful. It’s perfect with a black dress and will be a standout paired with a simple denim look.

I take many short trips, so a simple garment bag from T. Anthony is perfect for my suits; it’s all you need to carry with a cabin-size case on wheels.

I am super excited about the new Rag & Bone handbags. I will also be carrying the large navy blue Zagliani python bowling bag.

I am a Goyard devotee. I have just ordered a new strap for my messenger bag in bright yellow.
