We’re nearing the home stretch of summer. And while cable knits and leather leggings are on the horizon, you can count on at least a few more weeks of heat. Below, the Barneys team shares their end-of-summer survival tactics.

I love ties but have a hard time getting knotted up during August. I prefer to rock a Truman capote kneckerchief instead. (Simonnot Godard Rivoli handkerchief pictured.)

I bought a lot of sleeveless dresses from Celine and Narciso and tops from Phillip Lim (pictured). That way when I’m cold, I can just throw a sweater on.

I’ll be staying cool in mint green Barneys New York CO-OP cutoff shorts.

I really love the very simple and beautifully cut black Givenchy two-piece solid color suit that I would wear with one of his beautiful military collar shirts.

It’s all about cotton jersey in August. I could live in Rick Owens Lilies sweatpants at home in the comfort of AC or walk out in them in the heat with an ATM t-shirt, some Illesteva shades and a pair of Tabitha Simmons snakeskin sandals. It’s the easy breezy look.

August signifies a return to the island of Ischia in the Bay of Naples, to experience the thermal waters of the White Spa at the Mezzatore Hotel and resort. A 16th century tower anchors this sea side hydro-therapy center; Visconti had a birds-eye view from his villa. I pack light with just a few essentials: trunks from Orlebar Brown and aviators from Ray Ban that you can fold up and slip in your pocket.

To the office, I will wear my Isabel Marant tops and dresses. They are so light and airy—you still manage to stay cool while looking great!
