The City of Light was indeed that during Paris Fashion Week. From Saint Laurent kicking things off the first day with a romantic evening in front of a glistening Eiffel Tower, to Thom Browne closing the week with an enchanting unicorn, there were an endless number of joyful surprises throughout the final week of Fashion Month. And while it was almost impossible to narrow it down to our favorites, these ten Paris Fashion Week highlights were breathtaking, thought-provoking, and astonishing to show-goers as a whole.

1. Moncler’s Disco Ball Party
Larger-than-life disco balls graced the runway of Moncler’s Spring/Summer 2018 show. Sparking a surreal Instagram selfie moment, the space was transformed into a dance floor filled with hip-hop ballerinas and notable models.

2. Thom Browne’s Magical Unicorn
Unicorns do exist—in Thom Browne’s world, that is. Once this towering yet mystical creature trotted down the runway, show-goers scurried to pull out their phones to capture the over-the-top finale moment.

5. Balmain x L’Oreal After-Party
With the recent launch of the Balmain x L’Oreal collection, it was only right for the two powerhouses to throw an epic after-party. “United, we are invincible,” was the party theme that kicked the evening into high gear, and with celebrity appearances from Haley Baldwin and Courtney Love, the night was arguably one of the hottest soirées during Paris Fashion Week.

9. Altuzarra’s Parisian Invite
While it came as a surprise to many that Altuzarra would be taking its SS18 runway show to Paris, this season’s show invite seemed to shed light on the reasoning behind the sudden New York departure. Having grown up in Paris, Joseph chose to display a childhood memory of himself as a young boy in the city of light hugging a tree.
