Paddleboarding, Movie-watching & CO-OP Shopping: Our Team’s Big Plans For Labor Day

Labor Day may signal the end of summer, but the Barneys team isn’t going out without a bang. Read on to see what they have in store for the holiday weekend and how they’ll be dressing the part.

I will be paddleboarding my brains out—firming my core for Fashion Week—out in Shelter Island.

I’m heading to Fire Island and I’m all set with ten ATM t-shirts and cut-offs from Christopher Kane for J Brand.

Labor Day, the last gasp before a month of fashion shows. I’ll be in Bedford. And just to keep life organized, I bought bunch of new Thom Grey XO shirts, separate from the ones I have in the city.

I will be in the Hamptons with my family.  I’m still not sure what I will be wearing—the weather is so unpredictable—but the one thing I can tell you is that whatever I wear will be topped off with an Irene Neuwirth locket and opal ring!!

I am going to spend Labor Day in Long Island at my house with some friends.  If it gets a little chilly at night, I’ll put on one of my favorite sweaters, the Burberry Prorsum rugby striped crewneck. And if the weather is still hot enough during the day, I’ll be swimming in my Orlebar Brown Bulldog trunks, which have the best fit and are good looking enough to wear all day at the beach or in town.

I think I will stay in the city this Labor Day weekend. I like that it is quiet and it almost feels like the city is at a standstill. Hoping to catch up on some of the movies I’ve missed this summer, including Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Dark Knight. I’m always freezing in the movie theater so I always take along a sweatshirt. The men’s CO-OP hoodie style is perfect. It’s extra soft and I can really wrap myself in it like a blanket.

Labor Day weekend will be a quick jaunt to Miami. I always pack light since it’s fun to shop at the Barneys CO-OP on Collins Avenue, where I can stock up on CO-OP Collection basic tees and chinos.
