An intimate group of friends and colleagues gathered last night to toast Osman Yousefzada at Salon 94, a gallery space built within the home of gallerist Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, who co-hosted the event along with Barneys CEO Daniella Vitale and, of course, the man of the hour himself, Osman. The Upper East Side space was not only the perfect venue for enjoying the spring evening via floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious backyard, but the nonconventional, furnished gallery space also provided a sense of intimacy that Osman translates into his highly collaborative art and poetry publication,The Collective.
The evening was about celebrating Osman’s debut collection at Barneys, as well as the release of The Collective‘s 5th issue. Guests—who included Ansel Elgort, Alek Wek, Kimberly Drew, and Jessica Joffe—enjoyed champagne in the minimalist gallery space before heading upstairs for a buffet spread of light bites. With many of the women wearing Osman’s well-tailored designs and latest issue of the publication on display in every room, there’s no doubt that creativity is at the core of all that the talented designer touches. Scroll on for a peek inside the art- and fashion-filled evening.
