The time has come to spread holiday cheer, and in our world, that means gorgeous, inspiring window displays. This year, Barneys has collaborated with a suite of accomplished artists to create, for the first time ever, a set of six displays: windows both uptown at our Madison Avenue flagship and on Seventh Avenue at our new Downtown location are getting the holiday treatment. Artists Ebony G. Patterson, and the creative team behind Elliot Kealoha Blanchard’s studio, We Are Prism take over the Downtown windows, while uptown, Trey Parker and Matt Stone of Comedy Central’s South Park, Nick Cave, Rob Pruitt, and Studio Job command passersby’s attention with their elaborate Love, Peace, Joy-themed instillations on Madison Avenue.
To kick off the celebratory season, Barneys hosted a party-bus-sized group of VIP guests to take in all six artists’ windows with transportation between both location courtesy of a magical souped-up bus we like to refer to as the Holiday Joy Ride. Wrapped in Studio Job’s Love, Peace, Joy design, the bus made its way uptown with party-goers enjoying a set by DJ duo Angel + Dren, oodles of treats, a special Love Potion served in disco cocktail cups, and plenty of holiday cheer. Scroll on to see highlights from the night! We hope you join in on the fun by stopping by both locations this holiday season.
Love Peace Joy Project is on display now through January 3, 2017 at both our our Madison Avenue and Downtown flagship locations.
Plus, we’re inviting you to take part in our Love Peace Joy Project via our social campaign #LovePeaceJoyProject in support of Amy Schumer and Leesa Evans’ STYLEFUND and the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation. Find all the details here.
