One step off the plane in London, and we were immediately transported to fall. The cool, brisk weather played well with all the knits, colorful cords (Céline’s fuchsia pants have been the choice pair) and checked jackets the fashion crowd packed for the occasion—yet, it was sunny enough not to put a damper on the Spring ’18 runways. And oh, how the runways did shine.

But before we hit the catwalk, we kicked up our heels for the party of the week, hosted by Fiorucci. The rip-roaring disco blowout officially ushered in the brand’s relaunch—although we’ve been celebrating since last season with the exclusive. The week ended with another celebratory fête, this one by by designer Osman Yousefzada. The event took place at one of the designer’s favorite restaurants, fanciful, warmly-lit Aquavit, which played backdrop to a live performance by a slew of artists, friends, and models who mingled with guests in a Spring ’18 collection filled with party-hits like slinky frocks and feathered capes and robes. Between the book-ended parties, the week was chock-full of Brit talent including Alice Archer, Erdem, and J.W.Anderson.

1. FIORUCCI DISCO
Guests including Georgia May Jagger, Edie Campbell, and Stephen Jones danced the night away at Fiorucci’s disco party at L’Escargot in Soho.

2. ERDEM‘S PITCH PERFECT WHIMSY
Designer Erdem Moralioglu’s collection told the story of a young Queen Elizabeth mingling with artists at dim jazz lounges in the ’30s and ’40s. Tea-length dresses were topped with whimsical bows and broaches, and every look was enhanced by a smoldering smile.

3. POP OF PINK
The pair of pants spotted across the globe from New York to Paris are seen here in all their glory—hot pink Céline trousers. Even our fashion director couldn’t resist their siren call—see her wearing them here on our Instagram!

4. ALICE ARCHER TOOK US TO SICILY
A Barneys team favorite has done it again—bravo Alice Archer for a gorgeous collection of frothy dresses, robes, jackets, and pants embroidered lovingly with cherries and lemons that have us wistfully dreaming of Sicily.

5. J.W.ANDERSON BUSTED OUT
The innovative designer has been known to send a few It-bags down his runway, but this season all eyes were on the easy linen bustier tops that paraded by.

6. ANYA HINDMARCH RAISED THE ROOF
Literally. While the collection’s fanciful cat and pillow bags left spectators in speechless glee, the set design—disco ball and floating roof—had a jaw-dropping affect.

7. MARGIELA IN BLACK & WHITE
Black and white was the theme at MM6 Maison Margiela’s Spring ’18 collection showing. The graphic-cool theme was carried out to the T at their London headquarters. Every inch of the space got the MM6 B&W treatment.

8. SEE NOW SHOP NOW AT BURBERRY
Christopher Bailey and our men’s team agree: what you see is what you get. That’s why it was an extra special treat to be able to shop a Barneys edit of Burberry men’s pieces straight from Barneys.com the moment the show came to a close. The Burberry Spring ’18 men’s collection is now available at Barneys New York.

9. A DINNER TO REMEMBER
Anya Hindmarch and Caroline Rush cohosted an affair to remember in honor of London Fashion Week. Dinner was served at Bank of England, complete with edible gold dessert.

10. AN EVENING WITH OSMAN
To close out London Fashion Week, designer Osman Yousefzada hosted a gathering of fashionable friends and artists for a live performance at his favorite restaurant, Aquavit. Post runway show, guests were invited to stay and mingle with his friends that walked the show. Many Instagram Boomerangs of floaty feathers and sparkly frocks were shared.
