Last year’s weather put a damper on our Fashion Week outfit plans, all but forcing us into parkas and duck boots. This year, we’re leaving nothing to chance—we went straight to our Fashion Office for advice.
Up at our Madison Avenue flagship, Fashion Director Tomoko Ogura and Assistant Fashion Director Laura Stoloff led us in a seminar in the art of dressing for the international shows, which isn’t as complicated as one might think. We did pick up some helpful hints, however. For starters, you might want to accessorize in bright colors to offset London’s gray days. In Paris, feel free to lean towards the feminine. (It’s Paris, after all.) And when in doubt, wear stripes! Tomoko gives them her universal stamp of approval.
Below, the ladies of the Fashion Office tell us what they’ll be wearing to New York, London, Milan and Paris, and why.
