Seems like a dream come true, no? Start a fashion label with your best childhood friend, get picked up by Vogue and Elle, and win the affection of ‘it’ girls in Europe, stateside and beyond.

For pals Anne-Fleur Broudehoux and Roxane Thiéry, it was. They founded Roseanna in 2007, and have since made a name for themselves with collections that consistently hit the tough-but-tender sweet spot. The balance they’ve struck is likely a byproduct of their healthy tension as friends. Broudehoux claims to bring the flirty/floral/ruffle to the equation while Thiéry lends a more tailored, down-to-business sensibility.  Regardless of who’s bringing what—it’s working.

Barneys New York Fashion Director Tomoko Ogura says, “We love the playfulness of Roxane and Anne-Fleur’s spring collection, which was inspired by a trip they took to Brazil. The collection can be mixed and matched in an offbeat way, but also has an urban sensibility. The mixed textures, prints and bright colors create a dynamic wardrobe fit for the city and beyond.”

Agreed! These pieces fit in just as easily on the beaches of Fort Tilden as they do on Bedford Avenue, a win-win for your  spring/summer wardrobe. Check out some of our favorites below or shop the entire Roseanna collection at
