Last week, Jennifer Meyer told us all about her life as a jewelry designer. This week, she went one step further: she showed us. Jen gamely snapped pics throughout her day and filled us in on what she was doing, morning, noon and night. Below, a day in the life of this versatile L.A. designer, mom and wife…

My day starts bright and early! After we all get up, it is time to take my daughter, Ruby, to school. We love our morning drive time together.

I’m addicted to Pressed Juicery. It makes me feel healthy and nourished first thing in the morning.

Next stop is one of my favorite local, organic markets, Farm Shop. I could spend days in their cheese section alone.

Keep in mind that my morning starts early and on this particular day Ruby got out of school while it was still morning time. So I decided to do an impromptu hour on the beach with them. I grew up on the beach and love that my kids can love that experience as well. I love to do this with my children.

I make it to my office in time for a working lunch. Catching up on emails, reviewing product and meeting with my team are the main orders of business.
* * *
After what feels like only minutes in the office (though it really is the full afternoon—time just flies!) I head off to my home away from home, Barneys, for a quick meeting.
* * *
While there I can’t of course help but stop by my case…

I make it home in time to have dinner and a quick bath with my kids before bed. I tuck them in and get ready for a surprise dinner date with my husband. This will be a nice change for us as we are usually sitting on the couch and watching American Idol.
