What’s better than shopping for new fall arrivals? Shopping simultaneously for a philanthropic cause. Yesterday morning, guests attended a breakfast and panel discussion at our Upper West Side store in support of the JCC Manhattan. We were honored to partner with the JCC again, as the second annual event helps further their mission of providing better opportunities to the residents of the the underprivileged communities they serve.

Guests were treated to fruit parfaits, croissants, and delicious juices as they listened on to a panel of designers lead by our own Creative Ambassador-at-Large, Simon Doonan. Designer Jane Mayle of recently re-launched Maison Mayle, Steven Messler of Tate jewelry, and Nannette De Gaspé of her eponymous cosmetics brand joined Simon for the conversation.

The three designers answered questions about their brands, personal styles, and current inspirations, and once the Q&A wrapped, they joined guests to assist with their fashionable shopping choices. A percentage of all sales from this event were donated to the JCC Manhattan through our Barneys New York Foundation. Check back for more updates on our charity efforts as are we proud to offer ongoing support to worthwhile efforts.
