For the discerning man who appreciates the nuances of old-world tailoring—the importance of a perfectly-cut shoulder, the elegance of expertly draped trousers—but wants something that feels modern, let us introduce you to Andrea Campagna.
The son of one of Milan’s premiere tailors, Gianni Campagna, who is also the owner of Caraceni, Andrea grew up with scissors and a needle-and-thread in his hands.
But while his designs may pay homage to the past (he currently offers a rendition of a classic Gianni Agnelli suit from his archives), his feet and designs are firmly planted in the here and now. With their lightweight, luxury materials, carefully crafted details, and sartorial Milanese flair, Andrea’s designs are quickly popping up in the closets of the world’s best-dressed men. And Barneys is proud to be the sole U.S. store to feature his designs.
