In Honor of Her First Fragrance, Barneys Fêtes L’Wren Scott at the Carlyle

L’Wren Scott has been hard at work. On top of creating blockbuster ready-to-wear collections, she’s introduced a collection of handbags (sweetly named Lula for her mother), dressed Oprah for her final show, conspired on an adorable pair of mouse ears, and just last night we celebrated her latest endeavor, the first L’Wren Scott fragrance. You too may be wondering—how does Mick keep up with her?

The subject of L’Wren’s impressive work ethic was touched upon in a toast from host and friend Rachel Feinstein, who looked stunning (and quite festive) in a red and green printed dress by the designer. And with so many other friendly faces in attendance—Andre Leon Talley, Daphne Guinness, Ingrid Sischy and Sandy Brant, Nina Garcia, Mark Lee, Dennis Freedman, Daniella Vitale and at least a handful of Rolling Stones—the celebration at the Carlyle really felt more like a family affair. Some of the guests, in fact, were not above a round of sibling shenanigans: Ronnie Wood left the party wearing Richard Perry’s tie, which happened to be hand-painted by his wife Lisa. All in good fun, right guys?

Check out pictures from the evening below, which unfortunately, do not capture the quick cameo by Lorne Michaels and this week’s Saturday Night Live host, Martin Short. You’ll just have to take our word on that one.
