Reese Witherspoon

In Good Company: An Evening with Reese Witherspoon

In addition to having arguably—no, objectively—the cutest chin in Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon has had one distinguished career. Remember Elle Woods? Tracy Flick? Or how about her reincarnation of June Carter Cash?

Over the weekend the actress joined the ranks of Nicole Kidman and William H. Macy in receiving the Renaissance Award from the Gene Siskel Film Center, a program of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. So where do we come in? Barneys is a proud supporter of the AIC, and last month, we threw a cocktail party at Fred’s at the Barneys Chicago flagship to kick off the streak of Reese appreciation. Alexander Payne, the writer and director of The Descendants, Sideways and Election, presented the award to Ms. Witherspoon, who received it with the self-effacing charm (and impeccable style) that always leaves us weak at the knees.

In celebration, we thought this a fine occasion to look back at some of her best red carpet looks in Barneys New York designers.
