Although we’re in the midst of winter, we can’t help but daydream of sun-soaked afternoons and breezy, balmy weather. To help us prepare for the warmer months ahead (and a tropical getaway if we’re lucky), we asked the most in-the-know accessories editors—seriously, these guys know their stuff—to reveal which Barneys pre-spring accessories they can’t wait to wear.

1. On weekends out on the North Fork this summer, I’ll be wearing Medea by Ancient Greek Sandals—so classic while also supporting the homeland.
2. The Row lizard classic flap bag, because I promised myself I’d travel light on weekends.
3. I always love a bag with gold chains. It feels like an extension of the jewelry I wear every day.
4. Try as I might to whittle down daily necessities to a clutch, I need my stuff during the week, and a bag big enough to house it all. I love the colors here, especially against neutrals, which defines nearly my entire winter, spring, summer or fall wardrobe.
5 & 6. I’d love to wear Ileana Makri’s gold cat’s eye ring on one hand (because she did evil eyes before anyone) and the Mark Davis Bea ring on the other. He has stayed so true to Bakelite, an early plastic that made a strong appearance on spring runways in vintage bangles stacked high on wrists.
7. For the office, Manolo Blahnik’s Orina in tan and black. They are perfectly neutral, and the stretchy fabric (and Manolo Blahnik’s always-perfect construction) make them New York-proof.

1. Lanvin‘s Mondrian-feeling clutch is so graphic that it will be the perfect statement accessory to dress up any resort look.
2. Monique Péan‘s pieces move seamlessly from day to night and are exactly what you want to wear when you’re on holiday. I love these scrimshaw bangles mixed and matched in a stack on both arms. They work just as well with a bathing suit on the beach as they do for a night out on the town. And, since she works in only self-sustainable materials, it’s jewelry you can feel good about.
3. I’m all about polished utility—and no one does it better than The Row. Their calfskin leather backpack is dressed up with luxe gold hardware, making it the chicest hands-free bag of the season. And with a new baby to juggle, I need all the hands-free access I can get!
4. I love the idea of more aggressive jewelry against some of resort’s softer looks, so this Givenchy necklace will be the perfect finishing touch to some of my softer looks of the season.

1. My sister got a pair of Proenza Schouler flats last spring at Barneys and I’m constantly asking her if I can borrow them. She’ll be relieved to find out they have an updated version, so I can finally purchase my own pair!
2. Christopher Kane is one of my favorite designers. Everything he does, I adore. I usually spend my money on items I can wear multiple times in different ways, and this tee is a great example. I’ll dress it up with silk high-waisted pants and dress it down with a denim pencil skirt.
3. Although I’m a print person, for my bikinis I like solid colors, especially black. This Lanvin set is beyond chic, and it’ll be a perfect ”outfit” for cocktails by the pool.
4. Pedro Lourenco‘s resort collection was one of my favorites of the season. I’m constantly looking for unique printed pieces, and this dress fits the bill perfectly. I can wear it with heels and a leather jacket for a party in NYC or with flats in Rio. It’s one of those prints that will be as good in years to come as it is today.
5. I’m obsessed with earrings—they’re all I want to shop for right now. Jack Vartanian‘s gold tassels look fresh, polished and unique. They update any look and immediately put me in a good mood.

1. Anything leopard is never far off my wish list! The retro shape of these Givenchy sunglasses is equally split between 60s Hollywood darling and modern-day heroine.
2. The beauty of rose gold is so underrated. I think the sweetness of the material and the tough chicness of the shark teeth really make a winning combination. I’m a bracelet girl at heart, so I would stack this stunner among some of my favorite resort jewels—beaded and funky!
3. I am a huge fan of this Jil Sander bag. It is the perfect nouveau neon—structured and minimal with a fun, punchy color. I would wear this to warm up my winter looks when the cold weather finally lands in NYC.
4. This is a swimsuit fit for a queen—actually make that a goddess. Naturally, I’m drawn to it. The color and shape are so elegant. In a former life, it was probably a gown.
5. I’m not one for a flat sandal, but this shoe kept flirting with me so I finally gave in. The rainbow python is so necessary for mixing and matching.
6. These shoes are a gorgeous treated leather with the most amazing texture. I would wear them with an A-line leather skirt and a great printed top for a day at the office and with a colorful mini dress for a night out.

1. I love a simple shape with a crazy pattern. I’d wear these Orlebar Brown swim trunks with a navy Lacoste shirt and some Fallon dark crystal future classics necklaces while eating french fries on a beach lounger at the Marbella Club. So chic!
2. I don’t wear any animal products, so footwear is a challenge for me. I often end up in a plastic rain boot, and the Loeffler Randall rain booties would be cute with shorts, clam diggers or any other vacation-type pant. I also love the Havaianas thong flip-flop with the streak of neon on the side (for once I’ll be on-trend).
3. Honestly, I’d probably rather wear the Tom Ford Bachardy sunglasses because I adore a faux tortoise shell. But I just love the name Geraldine, so I might choose those frames instead. Yes, I would choose an accessory just because of the name.
