We’re beyond excited for Beverly Hills’ shiny new main floor, full of irresistible bags and shoes. We can’t wait for a spree on the new fifth floor, home to the men’s major new shoe department. But if we’re being honest, one of the elements we’re most thrilled about in our Beverly Hills flagship renovation is the arrival of Freds.

Already a go-to dining spot in New York and Chicago, California’s first Freds has the standout menu you love—Mark’s Madison salad and Belgian fries included—along with a serious dose of L.A. style. Band of Outsiders’ Scott Sternberg designed the uniforms. Contemporary artist Rob Pruitt created a custom installation for the restaurant. You can see the Hollywood sign from the revamped terrace. Need we go on?

It’s almost too delicious—so it’s only fair that we share the food love, no? Introducing @fredsatbarneys, the new Instagram channel dedicated to our favorite restaurant. From our favorite desserts (often with a side of fashion) to chef Mark Strausman’s farmers market snaps to behind-the-scenes peeks into restaurant life, it’s all here—and it’s making us hungry. Get a taste with our sampling of posts below, and then get in on the fun by following along!

There’s never a bad time for a Negroni. (There’s also never a bad time for a cobalt Saint Laurent bag.)
