“This Givenchy clutch is the perfect size to carry it all, and it easily transitions from day to night. The baby’s breath floral pattern makes me happy!
I always bring a snack in my bag, as I often don’t have time to eat in between shows and meetings. I am obsessed with the new Juice Press snack size ‘Not Boring Granola.’ It’s delicious, easy to fit in any bag, and gives me a boost of energy when needed.
During a super-stressful period at work, my 7-year-old son gave me a mini ninja Chima warrior to keep in my bag to give me extra ‘strength’ when I needed it. I haven’t taken it out of my bag since—figured I could always use all the help I can get!”
“During Fashion Week, I attend a handful of shows here in New York and have appointments with photography agents who are in town for the week. My team and I also schedule castings in the office, since it’s one of the few times all the models are in town, and attend fashion events in the evening. And if there’s time, I may take visitors to a Broadway show while they’re here, so I usually have tickets in my bag.
Being comfortable while dressing stylishly is key. My Barneys cashmere scarf is a must, as some events can be a bit chilly, along with the September evenings. It fits perfectly in this Byredo satchel—I love the classic and chic shape, plus it’s the perfect size to carry everything I need.”

The first thing I do when I wake up is check the weather to determine my outfit for the day. I like to be comfortable, as I typically go to 6-8 appointments a day, with shows and business meetings in between, then straight to dinner most nights. This season, I’ll be covering both the designer and developing markets for the first time, so it’ll be interesting to see how I’m able to balance both areas.

“Early morning Pilates and an abundance of juices, water, and music prepare me for the culmination of Fashion Week’s month-long progression. Equally important is food as fuel, so I always keep up to date with The Infatuation. And aromatherapy is essential—I spritz Le Labo’s Ambrette to stay rejuvenated throughout the day.
I’m channeling the ’70s bohemian glamour this season. Fontana’s suede saddle bag is the perfect ‘lady of the canyon.’ I gravitate towards wearing dresses with a strappy statement shoe to keep it simple and comfortable. Timeless feminine tailoring from Dries Van Noten, Derek Lam, and Alaia are favorites, so I keep them all in rotation.”
Senior Fashion Director
“Fashion Month is non-stop from morning until evening, during which so many decisions are being made in such a short amount of time. We’re constantly identifying trends, selecting our advertising looks, editing our buys, and developing exclusive styles with our vendors, so it’s incredibly fast-paced and inspiring. After the day’s over, I make sure to see my long-distance friends over a delicious meal while we’re all in the same city—always something I look forward to!
An umbrella, a phone charger, and a good night’s sleep can get you through any unexpected day. It might be the Japanese in me, but I always have a handkerchief. You never know when you’ll spill something or collect a little moisture on your forehead.
The Michino tote is versatile and compact without feeling small. I love that I can carry it as either a cross-body or as a tote. It’s light and easy to get into, which is great for pulling out my phone to snap a photo of something whizzing by.”

“If I am not in the office managing current business or prepping for market, I’m usually in appointments checking out all the new collections of the season. It’s so exciting to anticipate what each brand has up their sleeve.
I am a book worm and love to decompress on my subway ride home to Brooklyn. I am about to start the book in my bag, The Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. I like to take my mind off of the busy days I have looking at product, working in excel, and day dreaming with a really good read.
This Paco bag is truly a piece of art. I love the intricate chain mail detail & the bucket shape—it is so convenient for running around town and manages to be chic at the same time.”
