Spring was in the air at our Beverly Hills store yesterday as we welcomed Fabrizio Viti and his fresh-as-a-daisy footwear to the store with a festive luncheon hosted by Katherine Ross and Alexia Niedzielski. The charming shoe designer’s debut collection marks his first for his self-named line, though he’s been designing footwear for Louis Vuitton for nearly a decade, and Prada and Gucci before that. The Spring 2017 collection, called “Please Don’t Eat The Daisies,” is named for the Doris Day film by the same title and evokes the joy and optimism of the ‘60s and ‘70s, with its inspiration drawn from icons like Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve, and Candice Bergen. The whimsical designs are in a playful palette of pastels and metallics with no shortage of gorgeous appliquéd daisies. Scroll on for highlights from a day of sunshine, sweet treats, and—of course—beautiful shoes.
