The Chrysler building, power lines and cracked sidewalks are city staples few New Yorkers stop to notice, yet they are a constant source of inspiration for Eva Zuckerman’s feminine-slash-edgy jewelry collection, Eva Fehren.
The collection just launched at Barneys New York this month, but we can safely say that our affection for these architectural pieces is already growing by the minute. (Plus, Eva’s worked with some of our favorite designers—ahem, Monique Péan—so we know she’s the real deal).
“My interest in jewelry starts with a simple line,” says Eva, who co-founded the collection with business partner and friend Ann Gorga. “I start with a line and lose myself in the balance and symmetry of something as simple as the arc of an ellipse or an ‘X.’” These simple, clean lines make her jewelry endlessly versatile, while materials like petrified wood, moonstone and opaque diamonds add depth and character to her pieces. In short: this is one collection we can definitely get behind.
