The way to a woman’s heart may very well be via jewelry, especially if that route is lined with tiny teal diamonds. Such is the case with designer Deborah Pagani‘s Nico ring, whose oval aquamarine gemstone is set inside a jagged, geometric frame of white diamonds.
Named after German singer and Andy Warhol muse Nico, the ring gives new meaning to the term “rock royalty,” and is part of Pagani’s Queen Bee collection.
As with all of Ms. Pagani’s designs, this collection is not for the fashion faint of heart. Here, the Manhattan-based designer mixes sapphires, amethysts and diamonds with unexpected elements like agate, moonstones and opals to create statement-making, art deco cuffs, necklaces, rings and pendants.
When you don these gorgeous architectural baubles, you’ll feel as refined and enigmatic as the many women who inspired the collection: Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Jerry Hall and Grace Jones, among others.
