The 9th floor of the Barneys corporate HQ in NYC may not be as breathtaking as our stores, but it’s just as stockpiled with head-turning shoes. And while Barneys New York is bursting with designers we love—Gianvito Rossi, Alaïa, and Fabrizio Vitti, to name only a few—the brand you’ll be most likely to find on our own team’s feet is none other than BNY. That’s Barneys New York, for those of you just tuning in. If it seems like a shallow choice, you must understand: our love for our namesake brand runs deep. Our buying team sources the materials, designs the shoes, and works day in and day out with our factory partners in Italy—all in the name of good shoes. So if we get a bit attached, you can understand why. Read on to see—and shop—the BNY shoes that are frequenting the office these days and meet the team who loves to wear them.

Athena Petropoulos is our Associate Buyer for BNY Collection shoes, and she’s usually found surrounded by her work. Her office is basically a dream shoe closet. Here, she is wearing a pair of BNY satin mules (currently on sale!) and holding our new glitter chelsea boots which are perfect for the holidays and beyond.

We found Jennifer Low doing some light reading and lounging in a comfy pair of OTK boots.

We spy Adriana Berguer deep in planning, wearing a wild pair of BARNEYS NEW YORK leopard calf hair ankle boots.

Let’s get a closer look at that leop in action!

Gabrielle Cadet adds a bit of high shine to her denim-and-tee-shirt outfit with a pair of BARNEYS NEW YORK patent leather ankle boots.

Our Fashion Office Associate Director Jackie Kim often partakes in live shoe “unboxings” on Instagram. Here’s one pair of lace-up boots that made the cut IRL.

Power moves and some light office climbing for Ela Cagar in our fur-trimmed suede sandal.

Jaclyn King totes some precious cargo in BARNEYS NEW YORK metallicleather ankle boots.

We caught Cecilia Elfenbaum in our building’s lobby heading out for lunch—but not before she obliged let us get a quick snap in her Barneys New York shearling hikers.

Sara Nosaka greets us at the 9th floor entrance to show off her recent sale score: a pair of cap-toe two-tone booties with exquisite button detailing.

Signing off with Athena who has her hands and feet full.
