Roséline Lohr’s blog, This is Glamorous, is so multifaceted and well-curated that we think it’s better described as a virtual museum. Based in the U.K., it showcases all the finest, most inspiring trends in fashion, decor, food, travel and more—basically, whatever Roséline discovers during her “daily search for beautiful things,” as she puts it. The London Times even named it one of the 50 best design blogs in the world. Naturally, we couldn’t wait to get a glimpse into the glamorous mind of its creator…

What inspired you to start your blog?
This is Glamorous began as a personal place for inspiration. It is a place to catalog beautiful things, whether fashion inspiration for an outfit or decor inspiration for redecorating the living room.
How do you define glamour?
There is a quote I have always loved: “Glamour is what makes a man ask you for your telephone number. But it is also what makes a woman ask for the name of your dressmaker.” — Lilly Daché, milliner & fashion designer.
What is the best style advice you have ever received?
My mother once told me that it is always better to be overdressed than underdressed, and this advice has never steered me wrong.
Who are your favorite interior designers?
Right now, I am in love with the work of Tom Delavan, Barrie Benson, and—as always—Ryan Korban.
Which summer trends are you most excited to experiment with?
The pastels and sheer, pleated fabrics, the white on white, florals and lace—all so romantic!
Where will you be jetting off to this summer?
If you were accidentally locked in Barneys New York overnight, what would we find you wearing in the morning?
If I were accidentally locked in Barneys overnight…sounds like heaven! Especially if there were champagne somewhere? And it would definitely be a night of shoes and handbags—Miu Miu crystal heel platforms, Giuseppe Zanotti metal detail sandals, a Chloé Madeleine duffel and Paraty satchel, a pair of Christian Louboutin Summerissimas, a 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli hobo, a Jas MB Zen wristlet, a Sophie Hulme clutch, and anything else that will fit into a Goyard trunk are but some of the things you would find me with in the morning…and of course, perhaps a Valextra Babila beauty bag & trolley, and some By Terry rose balm and Byredo La Tulipe for this summer’s trip to Paris.
