Today’s Style Scoop, From Krystal Bick Of ‘This Time Tomorrow’

You know what we like? A gal who can rock a range of styles, from classic to quirky. You know what we like more? When that gal shares her fashion finds with the world. Thanks to Krystal Bick, we now have both.

By day, the San Francisco style maven is the fashion editor at Google (major props!), and by night, she showcases her daily outfits and current cravings on her very colorful blog, This Time Tomorrow.

Below, we asked Krystal to dish on a few of her favorite things.

How did your blog come about?
Truth be told, I started my blog on somewhat of a whim. Since I’ve always been fascinated with personal style and had recently gotten hooked on numerous fashion blogs, I decided to give blogging a try. As for the title, I have my Kinks obsession to blame for that…

How would you describe your personal style in three words?
Classic, tailored, quirky.

What is the most coveted item in your closet at the moment?
I would have to say my Proenza Schouler multi-strap sandals. They’re probably the most impractical shoe for San Francisco, but that doesn’t discourage me one bit! They add the perfect amount of oomph to any outfit.

Spill it—what’s in your makeup bag?
While I’m not a huge makeup junkie, I’m a firm believer in lipstick—it always completes a look. My latest obsession? The Chanel Rouge Coco line is incredibly easy for day-to-evening wear and moisturizes like no other. I personally love the shades Monte Carlo and Elise.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” -Plato. I try to be mindful of this, simply because it’s incredibly true.

Style icons—who is on your list?
I’m torn between Taylor Tomasi Hill and Miroslava Duma. Both ladies are fearless in their stylings and have some of the most lust-worthy accessories around. What I wouldn’t give to swap closets with them!

What’s your favorite fashion flick?
Annie Hall, of course. Diane Keaton rocks classic menswear with such ease and panache—what’s not to love? Roman Holiday is another favorite. Every time I watch it, it takes a lot of self restraint not to run out in my best full-skirt sundress and espadrilles and hop on the first Vespa I see.

If you were accidentally locked in Barneys overnight, what would we find you wearing in the morning?
I think a better way to phrase this might be, “What won’t I be wearing?” First, like any of my other visits to Barneys, I would stop off to visit the shoes and scoop up these Giuseppe Zanotti metal back sandals (4) and these curved heel Miu Miu‘s in mint green (1). At this point, I’d be running out of hands to carry everything so naturally, I would do what any other normal girl would do, and grab a Chloé duffel bag (3) to start packing things in. And, hopefully before security shows up to escort me out, I’d grab this angled vest by Prabal Gurung (2).
