The Barneys Team Reveals Which XO Exclusively Ours Pieces They Wish Were Theirs

When it comes to potluck dinners and games of pick-up in the park, we’re all about inclusivity. But check out the Barneys XO Exclusively Ours collection and you just might agree with us: Exclusivity has never sounded so good.

Wherever you spot that signature XO icon, you’ll know that our talented design minds have specially curated that piece just for Barneys New York customers (i.e. you). Whether it’s an exclusive item, color or entire designer collection, you can be sure you won’t find it anywhere else. So how will you choose from thousands of XO goodies? Take a cue from the Barneys team. Below, they share which XO Exclusively Ours pieces they’re currently coveting.

This Serapian flat messenger bag never screams “MANBAG!!” It is unobtrusive and masculine-ish, and big enough for your keys, phone, iPad and a little quelque-chose d’autre.

We just started carrying Eva Fehren in the store and she has the coolest black diamond jewelry. It could even be worn with a pair of cut-offs or anything from Chance (which our talented Tomoko Ogura curated) or Alexander Plokhov, who makes the sexiest menswear for women.

Our new Barneys New York XO canvas duffels are amazing. This is a forever bag that will only get better with age. (They come in other colors and sizes, too.)

I love the new Barneys New York CO-OP plain toe chukka (call 212-826-8900), which comes in the most beautiful purple color. The purple not only makes it special but also adds just the right amount of sophistication. I plan to wear them a lot this summer.

I love love love the entire Nak Armstrong jewelry collection, especially the bangles and rings!  An armful of the gorgeous bangles and one of those rings will make any outfit!

Amongst the array of striped t-shirts I own, this Chance one stands out. When Julia [Leach] showed me the design for this piece, a collaboration with her close friend, artist Elliott Puckette, she shared some words which I love and still resonate when I look at the hand-drawn lines: “A line is a dot that went for a walk.” —Paul Klee

I love the new Nixon S.A.M. watch for summer. It reminds me of the first wristwatches that were once pocket watches, converted when they added the pins and straps. I’m nostalgic about the regimental stripe band; it was always a favorite when I was a kid growing up in the 60s.
