You could make the case for newlyweds Kim Catullo and Speaker Christine Quinn—or Caroline Issa and Nicholas Kirwood, who posed arm-in-arm for photos—but the truly perfect pair of Friday night’s fête was surely Barneys New York and the HRC.
“Tonight we’re celebrating this beautiful new shoe floor that we opened a few weeks back. And I’m really proud on behalf of everyone at Barneys that we’re going to be able to present a check in the amount of over $340,000 to the Human Rights campaign,” chief executive Mark Lee announced to dinner guests. A Doonan-led dance party—with Estelle in command at the mic—further proved that campaign’s success was cause for serious celebration.
