Last week you may have seen Bruce Weber’s stunning film, Brothers, Sisters, Sons & Daughters, the culmination of our spring campaign that he so gorgeously shot. But what you may not have known is that the day it was released, Barneys partnered with Vanity Fair to host a screening of the film at the Guggenheim Museum, followed by an intimate Q&A with those closest to the project.

Barneys New York CEO Mark Lee welcomed 250 guests, who braved blustery blizzard conditions to take in the film. An emotional 36 minutes later, representatives from the National Center for Transgender Equality and the LGBT Community Center in New York City stepped in to moderate a discussion with the campaign’s creators, which included in addition to Mr. Weber, Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman and renowned author and journalist Patricia Bosworth, who penned bios of each of the 17 featured models. Many of the models were also able to attend as onstage panelists, fielding questions from the riveted crowd.

Check out the video below to learn a bit more about the origins of the campaign and to hear first-hand from the Bruce, Dennis, Patricia and the models about the incredible journey.
